Age related muscle loss (sarcopenia) and bone loss (osteoporosis) drive loss of function, decreased mobility, and falls. Preservation of muscle and bone strength is an absolute pre-requisite for healthy aging. As we work with you over the next few months and years, the tools in our toolbox also include nutritional optimization, evidence-based physical activity, motivational coaching and, when required, medications including Ozempic and thyroid hormone. Ozempic is popular but there needs to be caution.
